Trouble breathing

For about a week I feel like I just am not breathing right. I've been having burning pain in my upper back-lung area. When I take in a deep breath it is very uncomfortable pressure in my chest. The past 2 days I've started having a dry cough but when I cough hard I get this feeling of an electrical shock through my face and arms like I'm literally being shocked my whole body freezes this last about 5-10 seconds then passes. Since this all started I have no energy at all within an hour of being home from work I have to go to bed I'm just exhausted. This is really scaring me, to the point today I went to the ER while on the monitor my BP was also elevated my oxygen was only 94 and my respirations kept dropping between 0-5. Even more scary! They just did blood work and told me it must be viral syndrome and sent me home. Someone please help obviously something's wrong and I dont know what to do. Thank you!

Hey, I'm not a doctor, and I know I won't be much of a help, but how are you feeling today?

If it's bothering you too much (if they suspect it's viral syndrome), then definitely go back and check with your GP.

Hi Just wondering if you got checked for asthma?  If you had an infection it would show in your blood work.

?I assume they did an ECG on your heart but if you are really worried ask for an ECHO to set your mind at rest.

?I get the pins and needles etc but it's because my oxygen levels drop with my breathing problems so you lose sensation first in the extremities, when you worry and panic you can build up exess carbon dioxide in your body because you're not breathing properly as happened to me recently, one side of my face and body froze (I thought I was having a stroke).

?If I was you I'd go back to my GP and ask for pulmonary function tests, it will measure your lung capacty and go from there.

?None of this might be any help but I know how scary it can be
