Trouble Forgetting

Lately, I have been thinking of things that family did that I will never forget. One thing is this: my father offered me 10k as a down oayment on a new home, provided that I do not marry my now husband; that we continue living together and that he would arrange a commitment ceremony. I did not accept the money and he did give in to the marriage.

Was your dad right? Was it a mistake to marry him? Or were his worries unfounded?

Although there are times when we are both temperamental and I suffer from bouts of low self esteem and depression and he is bipolar, taking meds and going to therapy on a monrhly basis ( I am also on meds),our marriage may not be the greatest, but, we are making an effort.

That's not easy being married to someone who is bipolar, so i take my hat off to you, especially as you have your own stuff going on.

I wish you both well, and may your problems only ever be manageable ones. xx
