I had stress incontinence sling surgery on Oct. 18th and I was having trouble urinating. I wore an internal catheter for a week and then I have to use external catheters to empty my bladder. what can I do to get my bladder to start working properly? What have other's done after this surgery? How long did it take you to get back to normal? Feeling discouraged and disappointed.

Hello Shari, I just had bladder sling surgery on the 13th if August and came home with catheter for week then home with self Catheter until 30th, keeping diary for doctor but I am scared things aren't ok. Now my bladder feels full every 45 minutes to hour and lots of pressure, have to go or start losing it. Things weren't this bad before surgery. Praying I am just still healing... will keep you posted.
