Trying to look after my bones

Posted , 3 users are following.

Since fracturing my pubic rami I have become obsessed with bone nutrients. I am reasonably au fait with Calcium, K2 Mk 7, zinc, magnesium and other well known supplements but what does anybody out there know about Ipriflavone , its benefits or drawbacks I know of some but wondered if anybody has more knowledge about it. Thank you for reading this

It seems to do much the same thing as Alendronic Acid. I just hope that it doesn't have the same side effects. I haven't had time to read the PDF that I sent you, maybe the answer is in there, I'll read it later.

    Hello Aristotle,

I have read the PDF you kindly sent. I had already been taking the Ipriflavone for a couple of weeks and I have had no side effects. Way too early of course to notice any benefits. I am mainly trying to prevent further damage. As far as I know I do not have compromised BMD and my stress fracture is down to overuse Having said that, I am a 65 year old woman so I am being realistic about my return to running. At the moment I am jogging with some discomfort in the pubic bone area very near to the fracture site. I really just wanted to thank you for sending the PDF it did make interesting reading
