Trying Zoloft again...

Round three. The first time was easy and I was on it for a year and a half. Came off of it and my anxiety was tolerable but certain situations made it worse so I decided to try it again. Terrible stomach aches and cramps for weeks made me stop. I linked that to trying to start on 50mg instead of 25mg. So here I am after waiting to weeks to let most of the stomach issues subside I took my first dose of 25mg last night. I was able to sleep but not long and I felt like I had ants in my pant. I couldn’t sit still and stuff was agitating me. These are new side effects, but side effects in general cause me more anxiety. I took a Xanax to calm myself down. But I don’t want that to be my crutch. So does anyone know how long these side effects should last? What I can do? Is it worth it? Why am I having side effects this time?

My side effects lasted about 3-4 weeks but quickly subsided after that. As far as is it worth it? Well everyone is different as far as that goes, but it has most definitely been worth it for me. I’m on 75mg by the way. Good luck and God bless.

Not usually. I try to eat at night like dinner and then take it

and you are experiencing stomach issues (like upper abdomen) even though you take them on a meal? when do your stomach issues occur? quite directly after the intake or hours later?

I had start up side effects for 4+ weeks, they gradually fade away.

I started on 50mg straight off, 12+ weeks, now just started on 75mg with a few, less severe side effects.

It’s rubbish I know, but hang in there x
