TSH Normal, FT4 High

Hello all,

sorry if my English is not correct.

I have been suffering from chronic throat / larynx inflammations for over 2 years, my windpipe has also been inflamed for a long time.

Since then I also have mild complaints that are consistent with a thyroid that works too quickly.

Nothing serious, but I thought it would be interesting to test the values. Purely out of interest and to rule out things anyway, why not 😃

Age: 22

Weight: 85

Length: 196 cm

please note the valeus are European/Dutch:

This came out:

TSH: 2.0 (0.4 - 4.0) miu/L

FT4: 23 (12 - 22) pmol/L

FT3: 5.7 (3.1 - 6.5) pmol/L

The FT4 is therefore slightly above the limit, the FT3 comes close. TSH seems normal.

I read a lot on the internet, but what can these specific values mean?

I read that if the FT4 is higher, the TSH is lower, with me the TSH appears to be normal.

So many combinations possible so I can't really figure it out.

Thank you very much!
