Tugging and pain at incision site, 1 month after Hydrocelectomy

Posted , 2 users are following.

I'm almost 1 month in recovery from a hydrocelectomy, and still very very limited in my activities. Something felt wrong from the start, although my doctor says it's normal. I'm usually ok with pain, but this is still often a legit 6/10.

My fear is that in closing the incision, scotum was sutured to my testicle. It can not slide & move as the other one does, & clearly feels attached at the wound site. The site puckers with the movement of the testis, and folds if I move scrotal skin, and there is a lot of help pain. Has anyone experienced thisi? Please help.

Sorry to hear you are going through that! Can you get a second opinion on this? Maybe have a different urologist have a look? What does your surgeon say about what you are feeling?
