Hello , need advise or a point of view, i have a small prostate about 23 gr but my uro ran several test and came out with an elevated bladder neck and wants to preform a TUIP . I have been suffering with frequent urge and frequent urination for about 4 years its getting to point that I cant sleep . But I have a lot concerns with this procedure that have serious side effects I hear you can have bladder contracture and may have to repeat procedure in the future. I have never had any surgery before so I am really nervous , I will apreciate any comments or advise .

    Jams, I have 20 grams and have had intermittent blockage at the bladder funnel neck outlet. I searched all over and tried a FLA and a Rezum to no long term benefit, learned self cath from jim in the past half year and out of research on this site decided to go to the docs with the highest 5.0 records of at least 100 different 5.0 comments. Yesterday I went to Dr. Karamanian in Houston who did a 3T MRI and found that I had a mass that was blocking the bladder funnel neck especially when the bladder was filled to over 350 mLs. Dr. Karamanian gave tremendous clarity to the situation. I highly recommend consulting with him. Dr. Ara Karamanian. Mav

      Maverick thanks for the info. I google him and your right he has high reviews.

      I going to research more his methods and see if that something that applies to my situation. I been getting a lot useful info. also from another member
