Hi,
Had my hiatus hernia repaired laproscopicaly last Tuesday.
Lost 7-8 lbs since but half my clothes won't fit as belly is bigger still.
Assume it is just trapped gas and swelling post op?
Anyone else had this and If so how long before it starts to go down?
Seems to be more on the sides of the belly than the front.

Bloated belly seems to be a side effect from the gas. Was told that walking around would help eliminate this problem. No experience with it yet but will know more after my surgery Oct 1. Doesn't seem fair to lose the weight and be left with a bloated stomach.
