Turmeric!

So I decided to stop using steroids Clobetasol for my skin and started using Tumeric mixed with water before shower and rubbing organic coconut oil after the shower. Only been using for three days but I already see a little improvement with the black scars on my feet. Also, I started taking St. John’s Wort 600mg daily I’m guessing it will take at least 6-12 weeks to see any improvements from the pills but I will keep everyone updated. By the way I had one bump that wouldn’t flattened and the Tumeric has reduced the size of the bump.

    all credit to you for trying a new approach to your LP.

    may I just say that one lump in amid my LP was recently removed as a skin cancer. in this heat I am now double wrapped in compression bandages in an attempt to close up a 3 inch gap of wound. 

    Please, all of the LP sufferers ,do not suffer the lumps .get any ‘odd’ones looked at pref by a skin specialist. GP ‘s do not unfortunately have the knowledge of LP, but my ladyGPdid get me a fast referral to the local skin clinic.my LP was treated there in a different way and they took regular photos of this alien I was growing.The day for the removal came and at the last minute  they found another alien growing at the base of my original.Please be aware, self awareness of your skin is most important.

      I’m glad you caught the early symptoms and I will ask my Dermatologist to look more into the next time I visit. I’ve already had a biopsy and they said it was eczema but the 2nd derm I visit didn’t really say much which he was a professor and so happen the student he was training said it was Lichen Planus. My gp thought it was warts because they’re we’re tiny bumps and slightly raised and she sent a referral asap. This is a very difficult treatment I’ve spent tons of money on medicine that don’t seem to work I’m just tired already. I’m at the stage of dealing with it but depressed also. Thanks for your response and I hope all is well.

    My consultant recommended a tumeric spray for my OLP but I haven’t used it much as it’s soooo strong it dyes your entire mouth! I did however buy tumeric tea which I might start having again more regularly and try the spray again!

      Where do you buy Tumeric spray from. I’m already tired of making the paste it gets real messy at times. However, I will continue to do so if it helps.
