Turmeric for IBS

hi all,

have read that Turmeric can have benefits for lots of health issues, including IBS, does anyone have any experience of using this for IBS symptoms and if so what sort of doses are recommended, is it best to buy in tablet supplement form or could I pop a teaspoon of Turmeric powder on my porridge or cereal in the morning? ive read too much intake can cauae digestive issues, would appreciate any feedback from anyone please, thanks

    hi agentutah, whilst I have never used turmeric i think. you could do with speaking to a health food specialist. there's a place where we live called Holland and Barrett they will help with things like this. i would try that 1st.

    Hello @AgentUtah turmeric has lots of benefits and I have also read that it helps with IBS but more research is needed on the effect of turmeric on IBS. You can ask your doctor before taking it as it is has side effects also like nausea, dizziness, etc.
