Turn off the faucet !!

I am 4 weeks post op. Back to work on part time/ limited duty. I have several minor issues- all seem normal for my situation. The one major concern is my bladder seems to go off grid at night. I have to get up a couple times and as soon as my feet hot the floor my bladder starts to spasm and empty. Thank goodness for the maximum capacity diapers. I have zero control until daylight and then thing are working as they should. Is this a temporary thing? Any idea how to fix/ prevent this ?
