its day 7 post hemorrhoidectomy and i feel like i have turned a corner pain wise. i can now walk straight without bending over and can honestly say i have no pain ! im still nervous about the pain after bm but for now ill take what i can get!
as for how i look down there im disappointed it looks not much different to before tbh but im leaving well alone.

thanks for posting and update and so good to hear your recovery is going well. how long does the pain last after pm? are you still taking any pain medication?

yesterday the pain after bm lasted about an hour. this morning i went (only small amount) and it stung for about 10 mins after but am no longer screaming which i was before after bm. i was taking tramadol along with an anti inflammatory but havent took any as yet today. i am also starting to feel itchy down there so think thats a sign of healing.

feel down today, the searing pain after bm returned along with a constant pressure and feel to open bowels, i noticed when i break wind bits if poo come out. im seeing my surgeon today who by the way has zero bedside manner. to top it all of catching my daughters cold , feel utterly weary and fed up!
