    Hi

Are yiu doing your pelvic floor exercises yet.

These really strengthen up your bladder and floor to help improve leakage.

Do you have a womens physio who.specialized in pelvic floor health?x

HI I do but these were my main concerns pre surgery. Not sure why id have surgery if the same symptoms exist post surgery. Would have skipped surgery and not be mesh scared and be lifting my boy. I didnt leak pre surgery unless bending or getting up from floor. Now starting to wondering if pt would have just been enough to fix all this. was hoping for immediate results like my friends did.

    Hi

I had my repair rectocele and cystocele done 1 May. Prior to op I didn't have any bladder leakage. But after surgery exact same issues that u have. I've been seeing a pelvic floor physio and doing my exercises daily. I use a ton of toilet paper after urinating to try and catch it all but most times I still drip after I get dressed. The physio thinks maybe my urethra was kinked b4 my bladder repositioning and now it looks at the entrance after I wee. Anyway it's really annoying. I haven't been back 2 my specialist since my 6 week check as I work full time and it's a 4.5 hr round trip in the car. Maybe I'm 2 lazy to drive there! Good luck I hope things improve for u 😘

I have same problem; my bladder doesn't empty properly so once I have had a pee I have to hold my pelvic floor tight and stand up and walk about or do a hula hoop swirl then sit back down again to empty bladder properly. If I don't do this I just dribble as soon as I get up to move about especially if I rush about anywhere. x

Sometimes tge tvt needs adjusting hun.

It can be too tight sometimes.

Have y ou contacted your surgeon?

If not hun i woukd do this asap. Your clearly concerned and only he will give you piece of mind.. As well as us ladies advising you.

It sounds very much to me your ureth may of been kinked before your anterior repair.

That was my fear after tvh and anterior repair but no.leakage thank the lord.

Pick up phone and call hunxx

      HI

      I see him tomorrow.

Dont know much about kinks but would think that the tape would be holding it up now.

Lots of symptoms including constant cramping and pinching on left where mesh might have been close to vagina (emerg DR comment), frequency, overactive bladder, emptying issues, dribble leakage post void, heavy pelvis etc etc). i do have bladder prolapse as well that didnt get fixed as its a grade 1.

Will see tomorrow what is going on. was just hoping someone had similar and they eventually past.

DR should really give an extensive list of possible post op that can go away.

i dont want to worry you hun but a urogynacologist specialises in pelvic floor dysfunction.

They are the pros in this field. Im wondering may be thats why yiur having a few issues.

Lots of ladies on this forum will say that a gynacologist dont have the exptra experience they need to carry out these operations.

I pray all works out for you.

I had to travel 4 hrs to see the consultant of my choice as i know how these repairs fail so easily.xx

      THANK YOU.

I DO HOPE THATS NOT THE CASE.

MOST PEOPLE I KNOW HAD GREAT SUCCESS. I DONT LEAK WHEN I COUGH OR SNEEZE. JUST THE FREQUENCY IS TERRIBLE AND I LEAK SITTING DOWN, standing up and bending. IF MY ULTRASOUND SHOWS NOTHING HE WILL REFER ME.

im just shocked these dont last longer. wouldnt have done it for a 5-10 year fix. not worth it or would have asked for natural tissue. its in their now. hope all the overactivity and leaking just goes away but my DR SAID IT SHOULD HAVE BEEN GONE IMMEDIATELY. he did not buy into swelling or irritation.

wow thats a lot longer then 5-10. i am joe leaking when i bend over. overactive and frequent urgency. getting a bladder scan tomorrow. ive never personally known anyone to have complications except one person who had same surgeon but i just thought her body was different and the tape was too tight. so sick this wasnt 100%.
