TVT surgery

Ive been suffering from vaginal pain, similar to cystitis. The first bout came two weeks ago and lasted about 12 hours but tests show no UTI. Now the same has happened again. Ive been suffering for 24 hours and nothing helps the pain. Again, tests indicate no infection. I had a TVT fitted 11 years ago and am wondering if it is causing this problem. I did have a bit of constipation a few weeks ago. My surgeon was excellent and told me I'll never shift the mesh. Is he right? Anyone else have similar problems?
