Twerking post THR

Posted , 15 users are following.

My friend said to me yesterday (ex friend) "your twerking days are over girl!" I was incredulous and surprised because  1) I didn't think I ever had twerking days and 2) If I did I want them back!.

So anybody got any advice on twerking? 1) is it covered by the general restrictions? 2) How soon can you resume or commence  twerking post THR? 3) Should anyone actually twerk at all bad hips or not?

Had to look that one up on Wikipedia :

Twerking is a type of dancing in which an individual, usually a female, dances to music in a sexually provocative manner involving thrusting hip movements and a low squatting stance.

I think you would break the 90 degree rule, but once restrictions are lifted I doubt it's an issue. It really depends then on how much you want to be Miley!😂

My mum told me never to upset my neighbours or frighten horses , I think if I twerked I would be in danger of doing both !

I think I may have accidentely twerked in 1982 at a Clash concert but I am afraid to tell you that once over a certain age it is illegal to twerk in public. However, a special licence can be ontained from the Ministry of Ugly Dancing (MUD) should you feel the need to cause mass hysteria or communal retching.

The act of twerking is not neccesarily banned as far as THR is concerned and I am hoping to resume salsa classes which involves a lesser degree of snakey hip action but I would advise caution on any activity/movement that could be contrued as lone sex.

Ha ha wise words indeed.  I did go out dancing at my christmas night out last year. In a lot of pain due to OA but a few cosmos loostened me up just enough so I could "shimmy" along with the best of them (so I thought). I didn't win any prizes that night - no surprises there - but I did enjoy myself even though I was far too old to be there in any case. I should have applied to the MUD for a licence on retrospect.

I hope you get back to your salsa soon. Argentine Tango is probably a no nobiggrin
