Twitch on face with doxazosin

Hi all! I was prescribed Doxazosin at the beginning of March. I've noticed over the past couple of days I've had this random twitch on the side of my lower left lip. Has anyone else had twitches or spasms with Doxasin? I'm a 33 year old female and have never had anything like this before.

Hi m60318...You've been on the Doxazosin since the beginning of March which really isn't a long time. What is  the strength of the tablet(s)?

I've never heard of Doxazosin causing twitches..but there is a side effect of light-headedness or dizziness more likely to occur when first getting up in the mornings, which is why it is suggested that patients take their very first dose at bedtime, then during the day or whatever. I'm on 1mg of Doxazosin, taken in the morning with the rest of my meds. I do get a little lightheaded at times, but I do blame the meds. Other than that...no side effects. If the twitching you're experiencing is bothersome, then I'd suggest talking with your doctor. Are you taking this med for blood pressure control???I am.
