yes i get twitches ones you can see jumping under the skin sometimes my toes curl up all of a sudden, sometimes my left leg just dosent work just dosent get the signal like it should ,and it gives way. i get  jerking legs at night, some times. my eye sight changes sometimes i need reading glasses sometimes i dont. there is at least 26 symptoms to fibro i suffer with most of them at some time or another.

although i have found a product which helps with pain .its called rapid rhemotoid relief oil. i have also found that 2 homepathic remedies pulsatilla pratensis 30c and rhus toxicodendron 30c, and tissue salt magnesium phos 6x.have helped a lot . hope it helps.

Hello terig, the answer to your question for me is, I have arm and facial twitches, the latest is the mouth. Very uncomfortable, while talking, the twitches seem to interfere with pronunciation.  I do not have the foot drag but the pain is always there and sitting down seems to cause swelling.

hi andrea...sorry you are going through this too....do you have any limb weakness, where your legs give out or have heaviness in your arms ?

Yes, only on the left side for some reason, don't get me wrong i'm ok with just the one side.  How about you? And I have been experiencing my feet and ankles  swelling when sitting

yes i get twitches in my left calf. It only bothers me when i am trying to sleep. Really annoying it must be related to the central nervous system as fibro causes the sheaths on your nerves to inflame this will result in twitches and spasm anywhere on the body. I also get twitches under my right eye lid.

    Take Care

hi richard thanks for your response...i have been dealing with this since 2001, now i am using  a walker...i truly believe there is something else going on...did you ever have foot drag or twitches in your tongue? it was sort of damp with humidity here , in Toronto, and my feet cramps, knee ligaments just would not let me walk for 2 days...do you have more problems with damp or cold or even hot weather?

Yes i find cold weather tends to exacerbate my problems further. Its bad enough when its hot let alone in the winter. I am not looking forward to the cold setting in at the moment its summer in the UK so its manageable. I was put on duloxetine a few weeks ago but to no avail. So back to the doctors for a re-think on my meds. I dont have any problems with my tongue but i do wake up every morning with a sore throat and dry mouth and my nose feels blocked all the time. Must be related to fibro because i never had this problem before. I know its hard but i find a little Exercise helps massively but due to fatigue you just dont feel like doing any think not to mention the pain involved.

i so agree about the exercise....i used to teach dancersize , if i could mentally get my mind over matter, and do a little even passively everyday i know i would feel better physically and mentally, but i do water walking/jogging softly in the pool along with stretching exercises...i am afraid of the day when i can't get into the pool...take good care.
