Twitching under left eye/upper cheek should I be worried?

Long story short I have bad health anxiety that is getting better slowly and I am currently on Prozac but am experiencing muscle twitches in my face sometimes. When you look that kind of stuff up on Google you get some pretty scary results. I don't know if I should be worried? I saw my neurologist and he gave me a neurological exam. (Tested my strength, sight, balance, etc) but said my neurological exam looked pristine. That was about a month and a half ago. I am really scared someone please help. Facial twitches are terrifying.

I get eye twitches and facial twitches sometimes. I think when we are having bouts of bad anxiety, our muscles can over react and contract. I also get facial tingling in usually the corner of my mouth and sometimes my chin and cheek. I think it's all due to anxiety, but am seeing a neurologist here soon since I suffer with horrible health anxiety. I truly believe it's all anxiety. If you've gotten checked out, and the doctors say everything is fine, then you probably are.

Thank you so much, let me know how it goes. I really do care. Facial twitches are scary, I just don't know how normal they are? Ya know?

Do you think that if it was something serious like a brain tumor, the symptoms would be constant or come and go?

I'm not 100% sure to be honest, but I would think if it was more serious it would be constant. Do you notice it only when your anxiety is high? And if you want a piece of mind maybe ask for an MRI if your brain. I can guarantee you though, it's most likely all anxiety. I like to have a piece of mind so I stop worrying. That's why I get so many tests done. Do you have any other symptoms going on besides the twitching? Funny I just now started having right eye twitching.....lol

I know I am hyper aware of things and sometimes I have a reality perception problem. All of these things come and go but at random times and as soon as a symptom happens, even if it's just once, I worry about it a lot. I want to get an MRI but #1 they are expensive and 2. My neurologist didn't feel it was warranted. He said he can order one to give me piece of mind though. I am just terrified. Things were good for a little bit but then they went back to being strange. Idk what to do?

Plus when I have a mouthful of water or any liquid my cheeks quiver but it seems to get better if I relax but it's hard to tell

Ya I have an issue with eating sometimes. I feel like I can't swallow. All your symptoms really just seem like anxiety, but to have a piece of mind I would definitely try to get the MRI.

I have this exactly too! Only notice it when my mouth is full of water or liquid. How are you doing? Do you still get it? I too am on Prozac and I'm trying to chalk it up to anxiety

I always get twitchy when my stress is high or when i have a lot of caffiene or nicotine ( ended up having to quit both)

Then it might just be stress because even after quitting those things I still get them from time to time. I know how it feels though to need a definitive answer before I can believe I'm okay, if you really feel you need it go ahead and get the MRI.

Yeah I'm thinking about it. I think I will talk to my neurologist 1 more time before doing it though

Hello. The twitching has been going on with me too. Under my left eye, eye lid, arm, stomach, back, lower leg, calf. Hell. All over.

You think it's normal or should I get it checked out? I have reality perception issues too

I have the same cheek twitch. It comes and goes and comes mostly in the morning. Drives me nuts. Neurologist said hemifacial spasm another neurologist said it wasn't. I suffer from panic and anxiety and have migraines so I am losing my sh** . I am very hyper sensitive. Has anyone figured this out
