Two EDoF lenses - do night time issues get better or worse when second lens put in?

Posted , 10 users are following.

I thought i read it gets better, as brain can more easily adjust to eyes working the same way. But read from someone on here that Dr said artefacts would intensify?

Perhaps they intensify in short term but then adaptation speeds up.

For those of you with 2 EDOFs, I'd be interested to hear experiences

Thanks

I did remember to ask the Dr this question, he said usually it gets better as the eyes will be able to work together.

I have driven in the dark after 6 days, my husband was a nervous wreck as was I, but if stick to roads with street lighting, and that aren't too narrow, I think it will be OK. Have time to look for improvement befire final commitment re second eye anyway

    .. Thanks all.

I am planning for a cataract surgery on both eyes soon.

May I ask where I can find pictures showing the night vision effects (starbursts, halos, glares...) arising from EDoF lens vis-a-vis monofocal lens for a clear understanding of the extent of the issues that I’ll have to face with EDoF lens?

    Thank you folks.
