After two weeks I am walking without assistants, driving my truck and back to work. I am not pain free yet but i feel better everyday, I find the more I move and strech the better I feel.

Well done John you will improve day by day and yes the physio they tell us to do really does help enhanced recovery , I'm 3 month THR and total pain free but due to left hip being so bad I still need crutches, I'm in on Tuesday for Lthr , so feeling nervous but it's so worth it to be mobile again
Keep smiling you're doing great and all the best for 2017 , Ange

Renee,
I mainly do reports, walk the plant and make phone calls, so that is why I was able to return to work so fast. As for what I did before surgery was only PT but I am also only 46 and in pretty good shape, so that is helping with recovery. I think the main reason I am doing this well is I have a positive outlook on being pain free. I know that being active will help speed up the recovery time. I've been in pain for over 5 years and I'm just ready to get back to enjoying life.
