Hi. I am two weeks post-op from an open myomectomy. I had 19 fibroids removed. My cycle started five days earlier and I find that I am still passing clots. I am not soaking through a pad though I am uncomfortable. The clots alarmed me as I thought the myomectomy would fix that. I am also on blood thinners due to a history of clotting.
Is this heavy bleeding normal? HELP PEERS!

my period started 5 days early as well. it actually started 2 days after my surgery so that was fun lol. i passed a lot of clots too but that was always normal for me even before my surgery. i am 10 weeks post op and my first few periods after my surgery were very heavy still. just recently it lightened up with fewer heavy days and not as many clots. I'm sure you've heard this a lot but it will get better. i still have soreness when i do too much, which ive read it can take 6 months to a year to fully recover.
