Type 2 diabetics cause Premature evacuation

Does anyone know that type 2 diabetes  has any impact on premature ejaculation problems. I am 39 years old and have recently been diagnosed with type 2 diabetics. Getting treated with Metformin 500mg for few months now. But don't see any improvement on PE side.

It's really embarrassing to talk to GP about it.  Want to know if anyone has simmlar problems and got sorted with changing drugs.

Hi I am assuming you are female with the name Fay. I'm not sure if metformin does this as I take so many other meds as well. But I have the opposite problem. I personally feel very comfortable talking to my doctor about anything at all. I don't hold back anything anymore. My gp deals with people with cronic disease and she listens to everything I have to say to her. This is a special clinic here in Alberta Canada and our appointments are always no less than one hour some as long as 2 hours. I may even see another specialist on the same day back to back with another hour with my diabetic nurse or someone from another department they have at the clinic is really nice to be able to see anyone I need to see all in one day. I have type 2 diabetes as well as diabetes insipidus central as well as addisons disease. So I would suggest if you don't feel comfortable with your gp maybe find one you can feel more comfortable with.  Hope this helps you. Louise

Hi don't think there should be a problem. I am on combination 40mg sitagliptin / 1000 mg metformin  plus 40mg glicazide. Both twice a day. No issues here and I am 52.
