Types of fibre after resection

Hi everyone most people on this board with no my story. I am reaching out to anyone that's had a bowel resection about fibre use I am having some problems with some foods I'm eating but I can't actually distinguish which ones, it's very difficult . I've had problems on and off ever since my resection and unfortunately still having some issues. I have attacks of bad pain in my back where I can't pass wind and then I feel unwell for the rest of the evening and then it resolves. I have seen the surgeon about it and he's confused and not sure what's going on I have made an appointment to see him again. This time it happened after I had made lentil and vegetable soup., the day afterwards. I am assuming it's to do with fibre but to be honest I'm not really sure can anyone help me with this does anyone else have this problem. I don't have diarrhoea, I tend to become constipated and unable to go to the toilet or pass wind and bad back pain, with mild discomfort in the abdomen. . It goes on for several hours. It's the area of pain that's confusing my surgeon. . It's been 2 years since my resection. I eat plenty of fibre I'm just wondering if it's the type of fibre, and it's just too much , I think I've written about this before. I always turn to this board because I tend to get some good advice. Thanks everyone.
