i have sore at scrotum.

its look like ulcer ..

help me..

    Hi mff,

    Looks like you've got a large scrotal ulcer. But you'd have to tell us a lot more about yourself and this problem if you want help.

    1. How old are you? Where are you from (e.g. Africa, Nth America, Europe, Asia etc)?
    2. How long have you had this problem; have you had it before?
    3. Is is painful or painless? Have you noticed any painful swelling/s in your groin with this problem?
    4. Are you bi, straight or gay; when was the last time you had sex ; with a man or woman?
    5. Have you started taking any treatment for this or applied anything to it?
    6. Have you been tested for HIV and syphilis recently? What were the results?

      hi..thank you for replied..

      im early 40s and from southeast asia country..

      this is my 1st time happen to me..

      just found out last weeks..

      it started with itching and doesnt feel any small bumps before turn to sore..

      the ulcers doesnt pain much..only when i try to clean it ..it feels abit sting and itchy when at night..i also have it multiple sores at my anus..

      i dont feel any swelling/enlarged lymph nodes at my groin, flu like symptoms, diarhea, fever or headache ..

      i had sex with someone i met on 1st march ago..only oral sex..no penetration..

      right now i only applied neomycin cream ..

      i already make tested for it and waiting the result..

      but it really makes me stressful and worry

      help..

      btw..does it looks sypilis or herpes?

    u should get tested for herpes /syphilis

    Thanks for the information, mff.

    I agree with kim- you should definitely get your doctor to check you for herpes and syphilis, which are two conditions that can cause something like what you've got on the scrotum.

    As part of the screening I would also recommend that the doctor checks you for HIV, gonorrhoea and chlamydia. Tell us how it goes.

    hi adhari.

    im still wondering why im not feel any swollen lymph node at my groin..

    supposedly it must be there right?

      Not necessarily, but having swollen glands would maybe point the diagnosis more towards syphilis.

      At the end of the day, getting tested for all the STDs we listed (gonorrhoea, chlamydia, herpes, HIV and syphilis) should help with the diagnosis.

    hi again..

    i have already got my blood test screening hiv and std result and the result all is negative. the doctor prescribe me the antibiotic ciproglenn 500mg

    But im still curious what kind of disease i have now. is it a skin infection or maybe else?
