Ultrasound on liver

I am having an ultrasound on my liver due to suspected fatty liver, will they tell me there and then if it is fatty liver???

it depends who is doing the scan, my sister got told straight away that there was signs of a fatty liver, likewise my husband got told he had kidney stones but most times they just do the scan and say they will send a report to your dr/consultant and you get the results then.
