Umbilical hernia - Hertfordshire area / North London

Hi guys,

I'm new here and it's my first post so I'm sorry if I do something wrong. Also i really hope you have time to read especially if you are from that area.

I know it's this pandemic, some things are understandable but NHS has been postponing me for months and my condition is getting worse.

I started in 2018 with an epigastric hernia, on abodminal middle line, but in 2019 and now in 2021 it reccured at the bottom of the operation, near the navel. I had an open surgery both times, both of them in Romania.

Because NHS always postpones me, I'm looking for a pretty good private hospital in Hertfordshire area/North London based somehow on hernia surgeries. I'm asking you this because i found for example a topic here, where a person was asked for £12k at British Hernia Center, but also he had a surgery at a local private hospital in his area which cost him around £4k. I think their prices can be so high due to advertising and I'm sure I can find something else a little bit cheaper. I completed a form with BHC as well and I will call them on Monday to ask more but meanwhile if it's anybody here that can recommend another private hospital/good doctor please let me know.
