    Hi Sarah,

Unfortunately, CFS is diagnosed via process of exclusion. You will be tested for a litany of other 'proven' illnesses. If you clear those tests, only then will tou receive a CFS/ME diagnosis...

    Sorry for the bad news..

I have the same problem apart from I've told many different doctors and nothing seems to actually get done. I had glandular fever 6 years ago and never fully recovered (though still more or less functioning so long as I don't do too much) At some point I'm planning on insisting with doctors  to go through the process of eliminating anything else so it's officially diagnosed, but I find the whole thing so upsetting that it's hard to talk about it/let alone insist. It just makes me feel like crying, which leads to the inevitable "have you tried anti-depressants?!" No! I'm not depressed, I do however find it occasionally truly upsetting that I cannot do what I used to!!
