Unable to be tested - could this be pancreatitis

Hi Everyone,
I'm 23 F. I've been having trouble with my stomach for a few years now. I had my gallbladder taken out 3 years ago because it was full of stones after that the pain persisted and I got an endoscope which showed clear. Pain persisted so I went private and got another endoscope which showed bile in the stomach due to it not being able to store in a gallbladder.
Last few weeks things have gotten bad, I've had pain my chest while eating, constant tightness in throat and pain in my stomach to the point I don't want to go to bed and sleep encase I choke on the acid coming up or if something pops. I rang my GP who doubled my dose of stomach acid tablet but it hasn't done anything.
Today things have gotten worse with a pain radiating out my back. I face timed a doctor who said it's unlikely pancreatitis and the double dose of a stomach acid should have helped if there was an ulcer there and that I would need bloods and an abdominal examination.
I'm worried if this is something that's going to kill me. Everything is pretty much shut and the moment and I'd prefer not to go to A & E as my local is crowded and I'm worried about contracting a virus even though I know they are doing the best practice.
Anyone have anything similar or how I can ease the back pain?

You mention that you are on a stomach acid tablet. Is this Omeprazole or similar? That should help quite a bit. (I used it when I was vomiting in my sleep.) If that isn't what you are taking, ask your doctor about getting a prescription. You can also get it OTC as Prilosec. Get yourself a good heating pad, too.
If that is what you are taking and it's not helping, you really do need to get a scope to see what's going on. See if your doctor can call ahead for you so that you can be whisked away from COVID-19 patients. I know you don't want to go. 😦

Hi,
Thanks for the reply.
I'm currently on esmoperazole and Colestyramine sachets for the bile but they don't rreally seem to be working at all during this attack.
I'll definitely ask about those and get a heating pad going. Thanks for the advice 😃

Usually Omeprazole does the trick, if it's a manageable issue, hmmm. If you are taking the Omeprazole long term, it may be causing your issues by causing low acid.
I know it's a weird time, but you should ask about getting an EUS or a upper endoscopy scope to see if you do have an ulcer or a problem with the Lower Esophageal Sphincter not closing properly.
Be careful about getting a sphincterotomy if that is suggested. They don't always work and cause more damage. That doesn't mean it won't work, you just need to know all of the options (stents, injections, etc.).
Sorry I can't be more helpful.
