Unbalanced while walking - No diagnosis

Hi everyone!

Decided to join the forum after reading on other peoples experiences.

For the past 3 months I have been feeling like I am walking on a trampolin whenever I walk. If I sit down or lie down i dont feel the symptoms at all. I would say that I have not seen any huge improvement since I got it and it seems that nobody can figure out what is wrong with me. I just woke up with the symptoms and didnt have any illness before.

I have seen:

2 x GPs

2 x ENT specialist

1 x TCM (Traditional Chinese Medicine) doctor

1 x Neurologist

Tests done: Urine, Blood, MRI, Vestibular testing.

So far nobody has been able to tell me what is wrong with me, the last doctor I saw was the Neurologist who said that I have a coordination issue. It is starting to get to the point where it is affecting my mental health and I am starting to feel depressed because nobody can tell me if these symptoms will go away.

Has anyone else had any similar experience?

Hello mine started last April 2017 I started out with a sinus infection and severe dizziness. Sense that I have also had several doctors, test physical therapy with still to this day no real answer. They said it was vastibular labythitus, cervical , chronic inflammation of the sinuses etc. Now I wake up daily always feeling like I am swaying or floating ! My life is not my own anymore. I was active and enjoying life ! Not anymore. No medications worked , no therepy worked ! Good luck to you ....I know what your feeling trust me ! Hang in there

      Hi Joyce,

Thank you for replying. Sorry to hear about your issues, have you seen any improvements at all? What is the next step for you, is there anything else you can do?

There are some days that are not as severe as others and I'm able to do some things. I've seen a neurologist who did several tests and prescribed vestibular rehabilitation. I've got to schedule an appointment to see if hopefully that will bring me some relief. I do have 5 herniated discs in my neck from a previous car accident and do see a chiropractor as well. My ENT scoped my sinuses and everything was good. I had an MRI of my brain that was good. The only thing that was abnormal was a positive Ana test which means I have to many antibodies. So I followed up with a rheumatologist and the panel they did was normal. So from here on out I guess my only option is to try the vestibular rehabilitation.
