Unbearable PAIN from genital herpes

I am having this tremendous and absolutely unbearable pain right now. I am at the 5 or 6 days of genital herpes outbreak, right now there are yellow discharges all over. I am cleaning it every 1-2 hours. But it is so so so painful. I can’t walk can’t pee can’t look after my children.

Can someone who had experience tell me how long this is going to take. Mine is getting dry, but it is still so so so painful. I just want to know if there is hope to feel better, how long I will suffer. Please !!!!!

This post is old, but I hope this helps someone! My first outbreak was unbearable... hit a fever over 103 for several days. It was preceded by shooting pains and chills and general fatigue. I could barely get out of bed for about 4 days. The sores appeared and I got diagnosed and started valtrex twice a day 1000 mg. It was another 4 days before I could feel improvement. I had sores in my urethra so peeing was excruciating, worse than labor pains. It was the most pain I've ever experienced. I tried urinating in the bathtub after soaking. It was still terrible but made peeing possible. I screamed through it each time, and learned I could be quieter if I bit a towel. After the valtrex began to help, the most helpful thing was this: I filled a squeeze bottle with 1/3 with hazel, baking soda, and water and kept it in the fridge. I squeezed it directly at the urethra while peeing and it made it bearable. The witch hazel cleaned the area and promoted drying. I air dried the sores naked right after for days before I could towel off again. Later in the outbreak i used Desitin to coat the healing raw sores. It's been about 2 weeks and the sores have gone. I still have some aches and itching.
