Unbearable Pain From Ovarian Cyst. Getting worse should I get it checked again?

Hey All,

I've had abdominal and pelvic pain for 5 days now. I went up to the emergency department 3 days ago after seeing my doctor as pain had increased. I had bloods done and an ultrasound. I found the ultrasound guy was the most helpful. Straight away found a cyst in my ovary. Also said he could see fluid in my stomach. It measured at 4cm in diameter.

Concerning part was that in my ultrasound it was noticed that my ovaries were touching each other. Though this was not brought up by the doctor on duty. I am half way through my cycle, so I'm aware that it could be nothing. He said its most likely a follicle cyst and sent me on my way without any pain medication and said it will be better in a few days.

Meanwhile it has been 3 days since I've been, well on third day and I woke up this morning with unbearable pain. It came on so sudden and I just fell to the floor! I have never been in so much pain, and I have a high tolerance to pain. This jabbing/cramp/sharp/ what ever it was happened 3 times in a row. It now has me really concerned. Is this a normal feeling for a follicle cyst? Does it continue to get worse before it gets better? Should I be finding out why my ovaries are together? And maybe even a second opinion? My mum had issues with her ovaries...and they kept telling her it was nothing and she now has no ovaries and no uterus. I haven't had children and I do plan on having them so I don't want it to become a problem...

U need to see a gyn doctor and get and ultrasound where they do the scope vaginal to see how big the cysts r and they can determine what to do and as far as the pain it should be from the cysts that is what i had experienced until i had my left ovary and tude removed i hope u feel better and they find out what is wrong.
