Uncomfortable

It's not official yet but my doctor says I have genital herpes, today is my fourth day dealing with this horrible pain. I haven't had a good night's sleep in days, I also haven't eaten or drank anything because I am too scared to do the bathroom... I just wanted to know what sleeping position is the best ? Right now I've just been sleeping face up with a pillow beneath my tights to keep myself a little elevated. My legs and back start to hurt, but I don't have any other way of sleeping... any suggestions?

Do you put a pillow in between or something? Thank you so much for replying, I've been so miserable. I am 18, and I can't take this kind of pain... I cry constantly because of it.. I honestly don't know what to do anymore.

Yes they gave me medicine for the infection and I thought it was like a pain killer but it doesn't really take the pain away so I will be buying pain meds soon

Take 800mlgs of motrin every 4hrs

    - daily Epsom salt baths

    - pee in shallow bath to help w pain

    - if you're in the states, get bactine spray for numbing and in the UL. Ask the chemist for lidocain.

    - ice pack wrapped in paper towels when laying in your side helps

    - Vaseline helps provide protection from rubbing

Other than that, unfortunately you just have to ride it out. So sorry to hear, hang in there. It'll be over soon enough.

Thank you! Can I just get the bactine spray anywhere? Without prescription?

If you're in the US yes. Just go to the drug store. Should be where peroxide is.
