Uncomfortable feeling after hemorrhoid surgery of something stuck inside butt

Hello everyone! I'm posting this discussion to see if anyone can relate to my problems post hemorrhoidectomy. Has anyone experienced the constant feeling that something is inside of their butt and they have to hold it in a month or so after surgery? When walking, sitting, or moving in any way, I feel like I stuck something right into my butt and am trying to hold it in. Its terrible! I can feel with a finger that the internal wound is a little on the hard side but not large bumps or skin tags. im 5 weeks out from a ferguson external hemorrhoidectomy to remove one of my large hemorrhoids. The external wound burst wide open shortly after surgery but is healed now. Its just where the stitches went into my anal canal that isn't completely healed yet but theyre close. All external swelling has gone away that I can tell. They say its healing great but I am miserable feeling this way inside. I dont want to walk or move at all because of how uncomfortable it is. From the outside it looks okay, I just cant tell what is causing the feeling of something coming out of my butt and the doctors have brushed me off. I previously had one thrombosed removed after the birth of my first daughter. After the birth of my second daughter, i developed external hemorrhoids basically all the way around. I almost decided to wait on the surgery but the NP thought i would be ahead to have it done before they got worse . they were only able to remove about half of my hemorrhoids because they were afraid of causing a stricture. Could this be the wound in my anal canal not being fully healed or possibly the other hemorhoids causing this? any advice would be appreciated as i have found no other posts about this! This is honestly causing me so much anxiety and depression. I feel more uncomfortable now than before the surgery.

I just swore i would reply to everybody i could help since my surgery. am 5wks out and still at my worst.

I think you should insist your doctor takes a closure look.If your body is feeling it might be something. Also i have gone through so many forum's and other people say healing from surgery take time 6-8 months i guess.

I hope it gets better with time

thank you! The discomfort has started to subside but it seems that my anal canal has narrowed quite a bit as the healing has started to take off. The doctor still isnt concerned but I feel that there's a problem. Im trying to stay positive. good luck with your recovery as well. I know its hard.
