Im a 19 year old teenager but i feel like an old man, for two years now ive stuggled with unexplained aches and pains, my body feels tired constantly and everything seems so tireing, my shoulders have had a  constant dull ache for years which reaches out to my neck and back. Not only do i suffer from fatigue andbody aches but very often i find myself suffering with a horrible headaches, head pressure ear ache, eye pain and also my vision doesnt feel as strong as it was once before. Recently all this has been joined by nausea especially in a morning and a feeling asif im about to pass out. I always find myself either sweating or feeling really cold, even when i do sweat im normally cold. My stomach is always funny and playing up and all over my body i always feel asif something is trapped underneath or is inflammed especially on my left side near my stomach and ribs. Im falling out with those close to me because i feel irritated all the time. Day to day life is a stuggle with a new challenge or new ailment surfaceing and i just want to know what the problem is. Ive suffered from depression from a very young age and the doctors i see like to pin it onto that saying its due to anxiety and stress, but im never stressed the only thing that stresses me is my condition, i have my anxiety and depression uncontrol. I just want to know what im dealing with here and if anyone else can relate?

Did you by any chance have a bad dose of Flu prior to this starting?

I dont think so know, it started with the headaches and body aches, i do get flu very often though, suffered from a bad spell a year ago which left me bed ridden for a week

I once had two types of flu one after the other and had many of your symptoms for well over a year before Yuppie Flu and ME had been invented..

So have you now been diagnosed with M/E? can you explain to me exactly what symptoms we shared? or any others you expereinced

No. it was never diagnosed and eventually I got over it.. mind over matter I would say. This was all about forty years ago.

Like you I had unexplained aches and pains, tired constantly and everything seems so tiring and too much effort, headaches, head pressure Nausea at different times and a feeling as if about to pass out and sweating and could not sleep.  Many medications prescribed at the time that made things worse including amphetamines that made me even more restless.

Hi, I know I'm late into this conversation but I've experienced everything that was listed and it all started off after a bad case of flu that turned into uncontrollable cough and then two rib fractures. Ever since I've not been okay and it's so frustrating when the doctors suggest anti depressants when I'm physically sick but not stressed. My legs are swollen, my face is usually swollen. I have a dull pain in my back all the time and there's this stabbing pain in my left hip too. I've even left my job.
