HI there,

This is going to be a really long post so apologies in advance.

In June 2015 I woke up one morning and my legs felt really weak and my knees were trembling a bit. My husband suggested that it was probably a virus. A couple of hours later I needed to go number 2 on the toilet and everything was normal EXCEPT for the colour.. it was WHITE sad

Not long after that, I needed to go to the toilet every 10-15 minutes and was pooing nothing but water and a lot of it. I also started getting really bad stomach pain (not intestinal... stomach). It got so bad I called my husband and asked him to come home from work because something was really wrong with me and I felt like I needed him there.

Maybe half an hour after he came home I was hit with a sudden onset of hot flashes. I was boiling up really bad and I broke out into a cold sweat. I asked my husband to get the fan because I was so hot and I stripped down to almost nothing because I couldn't bear the heat. Hubby told me that I looked very pale and then I was hit suddenly with really bad nausea... I almost vomited but didn't. As quick as everything else that came on, I got really dizzy and thought I was going to pass out. I quickly sat on the floor and asked my husband to get a pillow for me and when he came back, my body got very fatigued. I couldn't move.. I was weak from head to toe I asked him to call me an ambulance and while I was saying that, I lost my hearing and then found that I couldn't even talk. I could think clearly but I couldnt move or talk.

Eventually I slowly gained strength enough to ask for water and my symptoms got better although I still had diarrhea. About an hour later (after deciding not to call an ambulance) I decided to go to the Drs. While waiting I had another episode exactly the same (hot, nauseaus, weak, tired etc) but the Dr said to us that I have Gastroenteritis and I felt that way from losing too much fluid (hypovolemia).

Over the next few weeks I felt a lot better but then I started getting symptoms similar but not as bad. For the last year and a half I feel fatigued, get bouts of dizziness, lots of hot flashes and nausea. My arms and legs always feel weak and I cant walk far without my knees trembling. Saying that, not all the symptoms come on at the same time.

I have been to numerous Doctors for 2nd/3rd/4th/5th opnions and they cannot diagnose me. I have have ultrasounds on my organs, CT scans of my head and chest, blood tests to check for autoimmune diseases, blood work to check liver funtion/kidney function, full blood work, full vitamins and minerals.. full cardio check up...everything. I feel like I have had every test done and everythinng has come back normal. Except Vitamin D which was low at 31 but has since jumped up to 44 and it should be over 50.

I have a couple of questions... Doctors can't seem to give me straight answers and they all give me different answers.

Is it possible that I have chronic Vit D defiency and this is what is causing me to feel this way?

Is it possible that I have chronic dehydration since that time I lost all that fluid and that is why I feel this way?

Does anybody out there have any similar experience? If so, do you feel better and what made you feel better?

It all started with gastro and now my quality of life has deteriorated significantly.

did you tell the doctor you had white poo? from what i can remember poo gets its brownish colour from bile, and white poo means their was a lack of bile.

bile is stored in the galbladder and produced by the liver. so you either had an obstructed gal bladder or a problem with your liver. you should have your liver blood test repeated a few times, you could have a underline liver problems that only gets temporarily worse after consiuming alchol, high fat meals etc.. and will eventually progresss.

ok i just remembered aswell low vit d can be caused by either liver problems or galbladder problems aswell, but low vitamin d can also cause gallbladder stones to form.

so you may have been had a galstone due to low vitamin d temporaly obstruct bile flow and slowing pass into the small instenine which is why they cant find anything

yeah but i also said it could be liver problems and the liver temp stopped prudcing bile. like if you have a minor liver problem which could cause the weakness and fatigue, then when you consumed alchol or a high fat meal or some medds can even damage your liver it make it temporay worse. you need to have a full liver panel blood work done imo.
