Unexplained bruising

Hi all I’ve been on sertraline around 6weeks now feeling better still the odd anxious days etc sertraline is still giving me upset stomach dhioria lots of clammy sweats now I keeps getting small bruise appearing all over my body they stay around two days then disappear then the next day more will come I have read it can be a rare side effect 1 in 100 people can anyone elaborate xx

    Never had any bruising Claire, just muscle soreness in places at the beginning of treatment, but that has gone away. I do know bruising is a very rare side effect of this medication, you might should speak to your Dr about this.

    I have noticed an increased tendency to bruise on Sert - I mentioned it to my GP who said it was a known side effect, and that she could do blood tests if required if it persists ...
