Unexplained itchy papules and rashes on hand and legs

I had fever around a month ago, which made me suffer for almost a week. I did RTPCR test, such turned out to be COVID negative. With the use of paracetamol tablets, the fever subsided. After almost 3 weeks, I have started getting itchy papules (mosquito bite like bumps) and red rashes on my hands and legs. I have consulted a general physician, and he has prescribed citrizine tablets for 10 days. But, I am not able to understand the problem.

Also, I have an extensive blood test, where the GGT levels were high ( >65). I am really worried of my health if it is any serious condition. Kindly help!

Possibly something is irritating your liver. Are you a heavy drinker?

No, I don't drink or smoke, and I am a vegetarian by food habits.

If the Cetrizine doesnt clear the rash and make you feel better, you must go back to your physician. Have you always been vegetarian?

Yes, I have always been a vegetarian. It was just once, a month ago, that I accidentally had a dish that had eggs. Except that, I have been a vegetarian since birth. I see these rashes have increased, spreading towards face too!
