Nearly 2 months ago, I have noticed some petechia rash on my arms.

My GP gave me some steroid to make it go away.

At first it was going away but now it is spreading again on the forearms, the neck, the belly and the feet.

I have done many blood test which all came back good (platelet are OK).

Other symptom I have is microscopic blood in urine for which I will see a urologist at the end of June so that a cystoscopy will be done.

I have spoken with many doctors and so far we do not know what can cause this spreading petechia.

Before this rash happens I was not taking any medication and was very healthy.

Any feedback is welcome.

    Does it itch?

Have you recently introduced any new food into your diet, or do you have a new houseplant, or even a new pet? Have you started a new job? Lifestyle change? a death or divorce in the family or those close to you?

Cast your mind back to 2 months ago or just before...what happened to you that was different?

      Hi Marina_Dee,

It is totally flat, painless and not itchy.

I have not introduced any new food in my diet. Before this there was no new pets, no new job, no lifestyle change. Also no death or divorce around me.

Nothing really happened to me that was different.

I have done new blood test and they all came back good...Only microscopic blood in my urine for which I will see a urologist in June.

I have seen 5 or 6 different doctors, no one knows what is going on.

Yesterday I went to a Homeopath who explained that she could treat me, I am trying everything I can to figure it out.

Thank you for your comment though, the mystery remains 😃
