Unknown Condition

I am a 24-year-old male in school for medical sciences to mainly help people and also hopefully stumble upon my condition that I've been dealing with all my life. I don't understand it and every time I explain to people what it's like they often think I am lying or crazy. Most people just brush it off saying it's your "superpower". I avoid sharing this information with others due to fear of getting shut down and not being taken seriously. I tried to explain many times growing up to my parents even to doctors, no one had really taken me seriously about my unknown condition.

It is hard to explain, but the symptoms I am experiencing:

-My visual surroundings change in a way as if it was rotated or seen in the perspective inside a mirror.

  • If the vision changes, It looks and feels like I haven't been there before; I was 5 min away from my home and everything looks familiar but it wasn't in the right place or overall a different place. It took me a while to get home with the help of a friend.
  • I eventually can try to reverse the vision back to normal by imagining how the original one looks. But sometimes, it switches uncontrollably back and forth.

I am sorry if what I am explaining doesn’t make sense. I feel that If I don’t find answers I'll start to believe I am going crazy. I just want answers to what this is or afraid that it could be an underlying pathophysiological illness.
