Unprotected Sex with HSV2 positive woman, weird irritation on my penis :(

Almost 4 weeks ago, I had sex with a woman I thought I trusted. Over the course of 3 years, weve had sex 6 times. 5 of those times we used protection. On the 6th time, we had sex for the final time. The next day she informed me that shes had HSV2 for years, but never mentioned it due to fear of judgement. She advised that she was in no form having an outbreak at the time, and that she knows when shes going to have them. She told me I have nothing to worry about (of course). Before i go into detail about whats happening to my penis, Ill preface by saying Im uncircumcised, workout often, live in a humid environment (in the event this might be a yeast infection and not herpes). Well, approximately a week after the interaction, I noticed some mild irritation and redness to my foreskin, about a cm below my glans. No blistering, and no ulceration. I didnt notice any lymph node enlargment, no flu symptoms, and this was pretty painless, but there was enough discomfort for me to notice. This proceeded to look a little worse after the course of a week (redder and more noticeable patch of skin that seemed discolored from the rest of my penis). My penis also felt like it was dipped in menthol (minty). The redness was now apparent on 2 seperate spots. Now its 4 weeks later, and while the redness seems to have subsided, the patch of skin still seems discolored(not blistered or bumps), but now its a lighter color, still visibly different from the rest of my penis. My skin appears dried out in this spot as well. Its not scabbing. I asked her if shes had any issues with a yeast infection, and she said she hasnt. Is this just unreasonably coincidental? Is this just fungal in nature due to me not getting a chance to wash up after a work out? And just happened to happen after unprotected sex with an HSV2 positive woman? Ill also state I have a killer immune system. Havent been sick in years. I will get tested, but had no open sores to test, and I feel like its too early to get the antibody test. Wish I could attach pictures on here. Any help appreciated.

    Hey Marcus ..

Sorry that you Are going through this nightmare ..

It doesn't sound like you have herpes ..

    At all .

But at the same time just because you have no symptoms doesn't too much mean anything because I never had any symptoms ..

And I was in the same exact situation as you .. The person never told me that they had the virus otherwise I would've stayed far away from them if I would've known ..

It's very messed up that she never told you she has this ..

If you don't want to tell someone then why do they hAve sex ???

    I don't understand it

Your best bet is to pray on everything ..

More then likely you don't have it .

But you have to wait it out until then .. Especially if you have no visual signs of lesions .. Blister or nothing.

And a blood test could take up to 6 months to detect..

Have you talked to her since ?

What else did she say about the situation ?

So when you guys previously had sex did she have the disease ?

Shes had it all along. We've talked many times since. She's been pretty fed up with me being paranoid. But it's one Hell of a coincidence that my penis is irritated after the encounter. Just wish she would have let me make the choice. I wouldn't have judged

I hope that all your tests turn out to be negative! I don't want to give false hope or anything but (I am female) I hadn't had sex with anyone for a long time, had unprotected sex once with this guy who then told me after I should go get tested (which I thought was suspicious) 6 weeks after the encounter I got a fever body aches and a large sore in my vagina, it's 3 months now and everything is still testing negative, my docs thinks it must've been a bartholin cyst however I am like you. I CANNOT believe the timing of everything and the fact that this guy told me I should go get tested after we had sex. So I hope your ok! Thought I'd give a little bit of hope. Good luck

I mean if she has had it all along then yeah that is defintely a deathly deal ..

And you shouldn't communicate with her for a while ..

I don't know why someone would do this ..

Maybe you are just overreacting ., seriously
