Unprovoked multiple bilateral emboli followed by new DVT whilst on warfain

What are my chances of getting another pulmonary embolism or dvt whilst on daltaparin injections

    As long as your on blood thinners you should be fine. I had bilateral pes in November 2016. Was blood thinners for 6 months. Now im jist on asprin and fish oil.

    Hi there I had bilateral pe’s February 2016 and am on thinners for life , I have been told it’s a precaution as the chances of embolism when on thinners is very minimal .

    Hi Carrie, sorry to hear this. I had several bilateral PE Jan 2017, I was put on Rivaroxiban (on it for life). In April 2017 found 3 dvt's when I asked the doc's how it could happen I was told it can happen quickly after PE's. However, I have not had any since. The doc told me the chances of it happening again are very slim but always listen to your body. Not very helpful to you at the moment I know but with time you will feel more confident that the blood thinners are doing their job.
