Unsteadiness/A Little Lightheaded, Heavy Pressure On Forehead And Eyebrows

Hello, I wonder if this is cause for concern? For more than a week, I experienced some lightheadedness throughout the day. I am now better than the first day when I felt it was difficult to focus, that I had to lie down or that I felt my feet were taking a floating step. Now, I feel some unsteadiness in the things I see as I venture outside to run errands. What further bothers me is this heavy pressure on my forehead and eyes area. It's not a throbbing headache but a pressure that makes the unsteadiness/dizziness worse.

I don't have any other issues. But two weeks ago, I got a fever, rapid heart rate and digestion problem from assumably a stomach virus. The lightheadness and headache occurred in the middle of this. But the other symptoms have subsided. Now it's just this heavy pressure on my head and lightheadness that remain and barely seem to even improve. Any help would be appreciated!! Thank you.

    Hi there,

Have you seen your regular doctor about this?  That would be the first thing to do then see a neuro-otologist.  It could be your inner ear causing symptoms of balance problems and lightheadedness.  The neuro-otologist can run tests that will check your inner ear.

I have been having problems since March 2012 after I had a bad sinus infection, I got this dizziness and lightheadedness.

    I hope you feel better.
