Unsuccessful attempt at biopsy and irregular period

I am new to the group. I was wondering if anyone had the same experience as I do. I have been having irregular periods for about 4 months and spotting in between. I went for a pap test in and my family Dr. tried to do a biopsy but could not as there was something internally blocking the instrument. my pap tests came back normal. I have been referred to a OB-GYN and I have a pelvic ultrasound is scheduled for Thursday. If anyone has had similar experiences, I would love to hear from you.
