ive been experiencing severe itchiness and a lot of vaginal discharge with a weird odor for a really long time now. i thought it was a yeast infection but it wouldve gone away by now its been months and months and the itching stops only when i get my period. does anyone know what this could be/what i can do?

sorry to hear your not feeling well! I have had BV for 7 months, I finally got it to calm down by taking vitamins and cutting back dairy and sugar. recently my symptoms changed into an external itch and thought it was yeast too. I took yeast medication and used yogurt to help with the itch but only on the outside. Its still a battle, one week good and then the next not so great but noticed changing my diet helped a lot. Have you gone to the doctor to get tested?

and no i havent gone to the doctor to get tested but if you dont mind me asking what vitamins did you take to help? i already take vitamin d because i have a deficiency.
