ive had this toenail problem for years now and i always forget to mention it at my drs appts when i trim the nail the black spots under it appear to be dried blood?

It looks like a wart has taken up residence under your toenail and as you have had it for years it may be difficult to get rid of it.You can try some over the counter wart treatment but you may need to ask your doctor for something stronger. A dermatologists opinion may be needed.
