Unusual bleeding and dizziness?!

Hi guys,

I'm 22 and my periods are normally regular(every 5 weeks), however I started bleeding again 2 weeks after I came off and it was very heavy and lasted for 7 days, I thought nothing of it but last Wednesday I was sick, had a fever, was very shivery and felt very odd. The past couple of days I have become very dizzy/faint and feel nauseated, I've been off my food and have had a migraine, when I woke up thismorning I saw that I have started to bleed again and I have weird pain in my left side only 3 days after stopping the last bleed.

I'm not on any contraception, I've done a pregnancy test and it was negative, I'm in a long term stable relationship and use condoms so it's not an STI.

Has anyone got any ideas what it could be? I don't know if I should seek medical help or just see how it goes?

Thanks 😊

      Hi smile

I had a ovarian cyst removed last November and my surgeon told me then that I didn't have PCOS or endometriosis and everything looked okay. My periods have been normal since then it's just these last 3 weeks this has happened x

Hi it could be something serious like an etopic or a perforated womb or it could just be a unblance of hormones but I would definitely go to ur docs or sexual health/family planning clinic and get checked out. It could also be a pregnancy some tests won't be able to check if you want to I'd get some ovulation tests just to check.

Also I was anemic, I had my bottom eye lid was white instead if red and the skin under my nails where white. I had to go and buy some iron vitemans and if you google it NHS will tell you what food will help.

it may be Menometrorrhagia, excessive uterine bleeding, both at the usual time of menstrual periods and at other irregular intervals. Since it is accompanied by other symptoms, medical attention may be needed.
