Hi been o 200 mg sertraline for one week now. I have had a couple of good days but all the old thoughts and feelings are in the back ground keep trying to be positive but really struggling would really appreciate some encouragement how long is it going to take have been on sertraline nearly 7 weeks.

    Trina, I know it may not seem much, but if you have had a few good days, that's a very positive indication that you are getting better. When you start to get better, you will have good days and bad days, they're like waves, because the med hasn't settled down in your body yet. Hang in there, stay strong but be gentle with yourself...you are much closer to seeing the light at the end of the tunnel. Xx

      Every day i come on here to see if you are posting because you always make me feel like im not on my own yesterday was really bad and i had to take promazine just hoping and praying i start to feel better soon i have been on sertraline for8 weeks on monday and 200 mg for 2weeks. Hope all is well with you sending my best wishes x

Hang in there, YOU will get better. Just a matter of time, and NEVER give up hope. Muster all your strength but also go easy and be gentle with yourself. You are NEVER alone. Xx.
