Alison, I’m feeling the same way. I look around and see all the older people (I’m in Florida) and just can’t help but thinking my life is now going to be nothing but health problems for the rest of my life. It’s so depressing. I hate feeling like this. I’m having burning feet today, so it’s probably hormones making me feel depressed.  Plus I have a root canal tooth that has failed and I need it pulled. Lovely, old lady with missing teeth. Argh

I turned 53 in January. A total hellish year and a half thinking I was really going to die. Lately having some better weeks though. Never normal, but a lot better. My periods are all over the place. From missing, to early, late, regular, one never knows. But I do hate getting those depressed or anxious feelings. I’m a week before my period, maybe, so maybe that’s when things start really dropping.

It is totally horrid. I hate the psychological symptoms more than anything else. Just feel like hiding from the worldv

You bet they can.  One of the things you have to remember is its just hormones and hormones wax and wane so it won't last forever.  Just let it pass.

Hi Alison yes they can,  It's the lack of oestrogen I have been there .

Oh boy alison, hormones can do this and so much more to us during this process it is hell on earth what we have to go through. Go and see your dr if things are getting on top of you and see if they can recommend something to perk you up abit. Keep smiling hun it wont be forever! XXX

Yes, I get that. I have mirena coil so no periods but my guess is that it is the drop in estrogen thats causing it. I get a couple of physical symptoms at the same time. Keep a mood/symptom diary, I found it much easier to cope once I worked out when it was going to happen.

Yes. I feel like this.   A couple weeks I was on fire getting things accomplished. This week I'm so tired..  Still moving but feeling blah.  I do think and worry about what is going on 'here' so I'm sure that is making me tired.  I do get to bed early and pray the next day will be better!  : )   It has to be the hormones!!
