Hi Victoria, I have been on many different ones for the last 15 years.  They do help but you are best to combine it with therepy to get the maximum benefit.  Discuss this with your doctor too and good luck smile x

Awh well that's good.  What i would also say though actually is that you can have some horrible side effects when you first start taking the medication but as long as they're not too severe, stick with them, they will soon pass and you'll soon start to feel the benefit smile

Yeah doctor said I can have side effects for like 2 weeks, as long as they're nothing too bad, I'll try to live them out for two weeks, see how I feel after it

    Hi Victoria

im on antidepressants and Propranolol for anxiety. What i will say is the first few weeks were unpleasant and i got worse before i got better. It may take longer than two weeks.what i will say is - stick it out. I still have my moments but i find if ive had a bad day or so with the anxiety i may have a couple of days of either bouncing off the walls or feeling really down. This is the medication readjusting your seratonin levels.

Im going back for my evaluation in a couple of weeks and will admit i don't think im ready to come off them yet. They are keeping me on the straight and narrow at the moment. Im not at my best on a morning but improve as the day goes on. Ive been told this is because ur seratonin levels can be at there highest.

    Best of luck with it

    Simon
